Electrode Induction Melting Gas Atomization Powder Making Equipment (EIGA)


EIGA-50 electrode induction melting gas atomization equipment is used by enterprises to mass produce metal powders with various spherical or sub-spherical particles. Its working principle is to use consumable electrode rods as raw materials, send them into the induction coil and form liquid flows or droplets with the help of high-frequency induction melting. The metal liquid flows down from the bottom of the induction coil, and the metal liquid passes through the conductor under the protective gas. The metal liquid flows out from the nozzle, and the high-pressure airflow atomizes and breaks the metal liquid into a large number of fine droplets through the high-pressure nozzle, and the fine droplets solidify into particles during flight. The powder gas mixture is sent to the cyclone separator through the delivery pipe, where the coarse and fine powders are separated from the atomized gas, and the metal powder is collected in a sealed container. The metal powder prepared by metal powder electrode induction melting gas atomization technology mainly has the following technical indicators: high sphericity; high purity; low oxygen content; rapid solidification; uniform microstructure.



Main technical parameters of the equipment:
a. Atomization method: Gas atomization method under argon gas.
b. Equipment working performance: continuous operation; continuous feeding rate: 0-100mm/min steplessly adjustable, accuracy 0.1mm/min, rapid lifting rate: 500-800mm/min stepless adjustable. The rotation speed is steplessly adjustable from 0-100r/min, and the feed rate, rotation speed and emergency stop can be adjusted at any time.
c. Metal bars such as titanium and titanium alloys.
d. Safety protection and alarm: equipped with diaphragm explosion-proof device and electrostatic protection device.
e. Safety alarm: When water is cut off or water pressure is insufficient, the induction melting power supply is automatically cut off, and at the same time the buzzer and fault light flash are displayed.
f. Protective gas: high-purity inert gas (such as argon, nitrogen)
g. Main technical performance indicators of the prepared powder: (taking titanium alloy powder as an example)


(1) High performance titanium alloy powder:
① The chemical composition complies with the national standard specifications of titanium alloy, and the oxygen increment is ≤300ppm;
② Powder particle size range: 15 μ m ~ 53 μ m, particle shape is spherical;
③ Loose specific gravity: >2.35g/cm3;
④ Yield of mass production powder: 15 μm~53 μm≥40 %
